Big Fat and Fabulously funny comedy, please come.

Martin J Dixon brings his hilarious show Big Fat Gay to Newcastle Fringe Festival. This is comedy about being gay and fat and totally fine as well.

Tackling body positivity and his own over confidence, combined with material about being savagely dumped and getting back into his gay groove, Martin really has covered the ‘fat’ and the ‘gay’ from his brilliant title.  Please come.

“Audience in stitches” - THE SUN
“Dixon has a remarkable gift” - BROADWAY BABY

Martin has been performing stand up for over 10 years, taking shows to Edinburgh, Camden and Brighton Festival fringes and performed audience warm up for ITV's Loose Women. They won 2023's Queerovision and recently won their heat at Stand Up For Cider in Taunton.  Martin survived the gong at Up The Creek and Chucklemania in Huntingdon. They've performed for Queer as Joke in Birmingham, The Poodle Club in Sydenham and Full Frontal Comedy.

Recently Martin has been working on sketch comedy with Sallyann Fellowes. Their debut novel 'Isle of No'Man' is due for release later this year with Vulpine Press and has been described by Lorraine Kelly as "honest, funny, bawdy and brilliant! Martin knows his stuff."
