Alphabetti Theatre
Winner of the 2023 Stage's Fringe Theatre of the year. Winner of 2024 best venue at North East Culture Awards. Alphabetti Theatre is one of the Uk's leading small scale theatres.
It will be the main festival hub, and will host approx. 5 performances a day for the full 10 days.

The Lubber Fiend
DIY music venue and event space, neighbours to Alphabetti Theatre and Dance City.
They will be hosting approx. 6 performances a day for 7 days during the festival.

Wheelchair accessible: No, unfortunately The Lubber Fiend is situated on the first floor and
there is no step free access to the venue. We have gender neutral toilets and an accessible disabled WC.

Dance City
Dance City is the leading organisation for dance in the North East, existing for over 30 years to support a thriving dance ecology. It will be hosting approx. 5 performances a day for 2 days in the festival
We will be programming a variety of genres, NOT exclusively dance.

Newgate Social
Newcastle's newest music venue, located inside The Gate.
They will be hosting approx. 6 performances a day for 7 days during the festival.

Prohibition Cabaret Bar
Prohibition Cabaret Bar is a 1920s style, award-winning bar and entertainment space, focusing on cabaret, burlesque and live music. It will be hosting 3 performances a day for 2 days in the festival.

Artisan @The Biscuit Factory
The Biscuit Factory is the UK's largest independent art, craft and design gallery, housed in a former Victorian warehouse.
They will be hosting approx. 3 performances a day for 4 days during the festival.

The Old Coal Yard
The Old Coal Yard is a working brewery and tap room, for Northern Alchemy Beer.
It will be hosting 4 performances a day for 5 days. Plus the award ceremony and wrap festival party

Cumberland Arms
The Cumberland Arms is a unique pub with a rich cultural history of programming diverse events and performances for the local community in the Ouseburn Valley. It will be hosting 6 performances a day over 4 days in the festival.

Wheelchair accessible: Yes the venue is from an outside ramp however please be aware the pub was built in 1860s, so as such entrance ways to the pub are smaller than we are now used to.
